Board of Directors

The Volcano School of Arts and Sciences is governed by an elected board of directors consisting of six parents, two community members, two teachers, one staff member, one student, and the Education Director.The duties of the board of directors are: 

• Develop broad policy to ensure the school operates according to the Vision, Mission, and Detailed Implementation Plan of the school
• Hire and evaluate the Education Director
• Provide financial oversight
• Acquire and develop facilities
